This Thesis investigates personal private sound control via headsets (modified soundscape) to mitigate the perceived deficiencies of inadequate environs. This is achieved by exploring the benefit of using soundscape as a key element used by students in such learning environs. It examines the result of conducting a creative task while exposed to different sound conditions. These results were then assessed according to two aspects of assessments: Self-assessment (by participants) and independent judgments (Design Jury) and the results of those assessments were compared. The result of this research showed a significant difference between the self-assessment and the independent judgment in terms of the most effective sound condition which was associated with increased participants’ creativity.
