The Potential for Dark Tourism as a Niche Tourism Product along Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way (WAW)

As a specific niche tourism product, dark tourism and its production and consumption have seen an increase over the past number of years. This has resulted in a significant volume of research related specifically to dark tourism sites (Podoshen, 2013). Yet there has been limited number of studies on its potential in Ireland.
