This report provides an overview evaluation of the two-year Wild Skills, Wild Spaces (WSWS) nature-based, ecotherapy programme led, and delivered by, Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust (MWT). Wild Skills, Wild Spaces is funded through the Sustainable Management Scheme - Welsh Government Rural Communities - Rural Development Programme 2014-2020, which is funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and the Welsh Government. The evaluation has been undertaken by a team from the Centre for Health, Activity, and Wellbeing Research (CAWR), at Cardiff Metropolitan University (Cardiff Met). CAWR were commissioned by MWT to design and deliver the evaluation.

The evaluation used a mixed methods approach incorporating both outcome and process evaluation methods, with input from participants, stakeholders, and deliverers. The findings concern both young people (YP; under 18 years of age) and adults (those 18 years and older) and relate to wellbeing, connection to nature, and physical activity.

Mae'r adroddiad hwn yn rhoi gwerthusiad trosolwg o'r rhaglen Sgiliau Gwyllt, Mannau Gwyllt (WSWS), sef rhaglen ecotherapi, dwy flynedd seiliedig ar natur, a gaiff ei harwain a’i darparu gan Ymddiriedolaeth Natur Sir Drefaldwyn (MWT). Mae’r rhaglen Sgiliau Gwyllt, Mannau Gwyllt yn cael ei hariannu drwy'r Cynllun Rheoli Cynaliadwy - Cymunedau Gwledig Llywodraeth Cymru - Rhaglen Datblygu Gwledig 2014-2020, a ariennir gan Gronfa Amaethyddol Ewrop ar gyfer Datblygu Gwledig a Llywodraeth Cymru. Cynhaliwyd y gwerthusiad gan dîm o'r Ganolfan Ymchwil ar gyfer Iechyd, Gweithgarwch a Lles (CAWR), ym Mhrifysgol Metropolitan Caerdydd (Met Caerdydd). Comisiynwyd CAWR gan MWT i gynllunio a chyflwyno'r gwerthusiad.

Defnyddiwyd dulliau cymysg ar gyfer y gwerthusiad gan ymgorffori dulliau gwerthuso canlyniadau a phrosesau, gyda mewnbwn gan gyfranogwyr, rhanddeiliaid a darparwyr. Mae'r canfyddiadau'n ymwneud â phobl ifanc (PI; o dan 18 oed) ac oedolion (y rhai 18 oed a hŷn) ac yn ymwneud â lles, cysylltiad â natur a gweithgarwch corfforol.
