Title: Psychological load & coping in English Rugby Premiership

Aim: Explore psychological demands experienced by individuals working within professional rugby union in England & how they cope with these demands.

Approach: Using a longitudinal mixed methods approach, the project investigated the psychological load (performance and life demands) faced by players in the English Rugby Premiership across two seasons, the strategies they used to cope with the load faced, and the subsequent impact upon their well-being.

To provide a general over of the project and the findings an executive summary and three infographics were created:

1 - Project overview

2 - Key findings

3 - Recommendations & work in progress
