Scopus Versus Web of Science: Which One to Perform a Bibliometric Literature Review on CSR and Corporate Reputation?
This paper is based on a bibliometric data analysis exploring the relationships between Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Corporate Reputation (CR). It justifies the adopted software (Bibexcel and VOSviewer), methods used, bibliometric analysis results, and provides combined discussion section that focuses on key issues of interest emerging from the analysis. These issues of interest are 1) comparison between Scopus and WoS, 2) theoretical development, 3) stakeholder theory and the psychological link between CSR-CR, and 4) geographic aspects, methodology design, and industry sector. Finally, this paper concludes that future research would benefit from using personal values as theoretical lens through which to evaluate the human aspects of the CSR-CR relationship.
