Fast Coding Unit Size Selection for HEVC Inter Prediction

This paper presents a fast CU size selection algorithm for HEVC using a CU classification technique. The proposed algorithm achieves an average of 67.83% encoding time efficiency improvement with a negligible rate-distortion loss.
