This study aims to explore whether the corruption culture possibly from overseas directors on UK corporate boards translates into greater climate change-related risk for the firm. We also examine whether the association between culturally induced corruption prospects on UK corporate boards and firm-level climate change risk differs between sustainable and non-sustainable firms.
